Are you a newcomer to Brussels or would you simply like to meet more people, find some new interests, take up a new activity or have a bit more fun? Have you considered joining the British & Commonwealth Women’s Club of Brussels? The BCWCB was founded in 1963 and has over 450 members. It provides opportunities for its members to meet each other, to pursue hobbies and interests or, to take up new ones and to help newcomers settle into their new community.

On offer is a wide range of activities including a book club, language classes, photography, badminton, golf, swimming, tennis, bridge, art classes, card making, cookery and computer lessons. There is a group for mothers with children under three and one which arranges activities in the school holidays for children away at school. Regular visits are organised to local exhibits and places of interest and there are day trips to places further afield. There are also regular lunches, talks and coffee mornings.

The BCWCB has a Clubhouse in Woluwé which houses a very up-to-date library and where drinks and lunches are available.

Members receive a monthly magazine, Passport, which gives details of all Club activities.

Annual membership fee is 80 euros.
